- Michigan has automatic voter registration when applying for State Identification. Residents are automatically registered to vote unless they choose to opt out if they do not intend to vote. Michigan also permits Voters not to show ID when voting? Is there a plan to remove automatic registration remove no-ID voting if this bill passes?

Rising Insurance Costs: If individuals without legal status obtain driver’s licenses and are unable to afford car insurance, this could lead to higher rates for U.S. drivers, as the financial burden of uninsured drivers is often passed on to those with proper coverage.
